What we do

Everything between your roof and a lower bill

Rooftop solar involves more than panels. We handle the technical, financial, and paperwork sides of the project so you're not managing four vendors at once.

Site assessment

We survey your roof or terrace, check structural load and shading, and size a system against your actual electricity usage rather than a generic package. For unusual layouts, such as shed structures, shared terraces, or partial shading, we design around the constraint instead of ignoring it.

Estimate your own system size

Enter the average monthly units from your last few bills. We average several months rather than one, since a single hot month or an estimated reading can throw the number off.

System size Roof area needed Typical generation / day Typical generation / month PM Surya Ghar subsidy* Approx. monthly bill offset**
1 kW~100 sq ft~4 units~120 units₹30,000~₹400
2 kW~200 sq ft~8 units~240 units₹60,000~₹1,160
3 kW~300 sq ft~12 units~360 units₹78,000~₹2,220
5 kW~500 sq ft~20 units~600 units₹78,000~₹4,530
10 kW~1,000 sq ft~40 units~1,200 units₹78,000~₹10,420
15 kW~1,500 sq ft~60 units~1,800 units₹78,000~₹16,310

Rule of thumb for a shadow-free RCC roof. Your exact layout depends on shape, shading, and orientation, confirmed at the free site visit.

* Subsidy: residential PM Surya Ghar central subsidy is ₹30,000 for 1 kW, ₹60,000 for 2 kW, and capped at ₹78,000 for 3 kW and above, subject to eligibility and current scheme rules. ** Bill offset: an indicative energy-charge value using Andhra Pradesh FY 2026-27 domestic telescopic rates and ₹0.06/unit electricity duty, assuming the home consumes at least the listed monthly generation. Fixed charges are excluded. Actual savings vary with consumption, solar production, imports/exports and net-metering settlement. Ongole/Prakasam is served by APCPDCL; APERC's FY 2026-27 retail tariff schedule applies across APCPDCL, APSPDCL and APEPDCL.

Subsidy & documentation

We're set up to work within the government's rooftop solar subsidy process: feasibility approval, empanelled equipment sourcing, and the commissioning report that triggers the subsidy payout. You get status updates instead of chasing a portal yourself.

System size Typical cost before subsidy PM Surya Ghar subsidy Your cost after subsidy
1 kW₹55,000 – ₹85,000₹30,000₹25,000 – ₹55,000
2 kW₹1.1L – ₹1.7L₹60,000₹50,000 – ₹1.1L
3 kW₹1.6L – ₹2.4L₹78,000₹82,000 – ₹1.6L
5 kW₹2.75L – ₹4.25L₹78,000₹2L – ₹3.5L
10 kW₹5.5L – ₹8.5L₹78,000₹4.7L – ₹7.7L
15 kW₹8.25L – ₹12.75L₹78,000₹7.5L – ₹12L

Figures are approximate and refined after a free site visit. The subsidy stays capped at ₹78,000 from 3 kW upward. Andhra Pradesh also waives net metering and application fees for domestic systems up to 10 kW, and PM Surya Ghar offers a collateral-free loan at around 7% for systems up to 3 kW.

Financing assistance

Where a loan makes the numbers work better than paying upfront, we help put together the paperwork for a bank loan sized against the subsidy you're expecting, so financing and subsidy stay tied to one consistent case.

Item Amount
Gross turnkey cost (3 kW)₹1.91L
Margin (10%), held by SBI†₹19,100
Financed (90%, SBI @ 5.75%*)₹1,71,900
EMI, months 1–6₹1,887/mo
EMI, after subsidy credited₹1,025/mo

†Nothing is due from you at signing — with SBI, this margin is held back and settled only after installation is complete and their own team visits to verify it. Other lenders typically charge a higher rate too, so both the EMI and total cost usually run higher with them, on top of taking the full amount upfront.

*5.75% applies to SBI PM Surya Ghar loans up to ₹2L (collateral-free, nil processing fee); ₹2-6L is 7.90% (system hypothecated, 650+ CIBIL score required). Tenure up to 120 months, including a 6-month moratorium. A 3 kW system in Ongole typically generates 300-400 units a month, worth roughly ₹2,500-3,500 in avoided electricity cost, more than the EMI even before the subsidy lands. Treat this as an illustrative example; your bank, exact system cost, and subsidy timing will change the real numbers.

Installation

Panels, inverter, wiring, and mounting: installed by our own crew, not a subcontractor we've never met. We use ALMM-listed panels and MNRE-approved inverters as standard, so nothing about your equipment holds up the subsidy later.

Net metering & commissioning

Once installed, we coordinate the inspection and net metering setup with your electricity provider, so surplus power you generate actually credits your bill.

We install panels and inverters from established manufacturers, including Waaree, Tata Power Solar, Adani Solar, Vikram Solar, Premier Energies, and ReNew.

These are trademarks of their respective owners. Tabish Power Solar is an independent installer and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by these companies.

Common questions

“How do you decide what size system I need?”

We start from your electricity bill, not the roof or a generic package. The rule of thumb: 1 kW of panels gives roughly 4 units a day in this region, about 120 units a month. Take your average monthly units from the last several bills and divide by 120 to get a starting system size, then we round that to a size we stock and check it against your actual roof at the free site visit. Try the calculator above.

“Why does a 10 kW system need three-phase power?”

A single-phase home connection can only safely export a limited amount of power to the grid. Andhra Pradesh's APERC raised that single-phase ceiling to 5 kW in August 2026, up from 3 kW. Above that, a three-phase connection is required, this is the regulator's rule for every vendor in the state, not ours. If you don't already have three-phase power, we help you apply to the DISCOM for it as part of the process.

“Isn't a 3 kW system just the panel price times the wattage?”

Panels are the single largest line item, but only about half the bill. For a typical 3 kW system: panels ~53% (₹98,000–1.04L), inverter ~12% (₹21,000–24,000), mounting ~10% (₹17,000–20,000), labour ~10% (₹17,000–21,000), cabling ~6% (₹10,000–13,000), earthing/MCBs ~4% (₹6,000–8,000), civil work ~3% (₹5,000–7,000), net metering coordination ~2% (₹3,000–5,000). Add it up and a 3 kW system lands at roughly ₹1.77L–2.02L, inside the ₹1.6–2.4L range quoted above. Quick mental math: roughly double whatever the panel-only price comes to, to estimate the full turnkey system cost.
